Psychotherapy

Dr. Bradshaw offers 1:1 in-person and telehealth therapy using a secure video conferencing platform. He is licensed as a professional counselor in Arizona and can provide therapy to anyone in Arizona, presuming appropriateness/scope of practice. He is working to become licensed as a clinical psychologist in Arizona in 2026/2027. At that time, he will likely begin offering some additional services such as in-depth personality testing.

* Please note: As of December, 2025, Dr. Bradshaw’s practice is currently full and he can not begin work with any new clients. He will update this website and his Psychology Today and other therapist directory profiles once he has space again in his practice. He does not maintain a waiting list, because he wants to encourage folks to take action and find the support they need now. If you are in need of assistance finding a good fit therapist, please consider consulting Psychology Today and filtering for what you are looking for. You can also e-mail Dr. Bradshaw if you need assistance with referrals and he will do his best to assist you.

He is seeing a small number of clients through Woodhaven Psychological Services, under the supervision of Dr. Sarah May, as part of his post-doctoral supervised hours toward licensure as a clinical psychologist. Please contact Dr. Sarah May at Woodhaven Psychological Services if you want to discuss this possibility.

Fees & Payment Options

Below is a basic breakdown of cost and payment options. Please contact Dr. Bradshaw via phone or e-mail to discuss the process and options in more detail.

  • Psychotherapy
My rate for a 55-minute psychotherapy session is $150. Longer sessions are available at a proportional rate (for example, a 90-minute session is $225). At this time, my therapy practice has limited availability, and my slots for sliding-scale or insurance payment are full. I am currently only able to see clients at my full private-pay rate. I offer a free 15-30 minute consultation phone call to help determine appropriateness of fit before we get started. This will also be assessed in the early sessions.

    Coaching & Consulting
My rate for coaching and consulting services is $200 per hour. These services are goal-focused, non-clinical, and available to clients nationwide and internationally, depending on applicable laws. Coaching & consulting is not psychotherapy. Coaching and consulting do not diagnose mental health concerns, and do not directly work with mental health concerns.

  • At this time, Dr. Bradshaw’s practice is only able to work with clients who can pay the full session rate out of pocket.  While he believes in making psychotherapy accessible, all slots are taken for sliding-scale and for most insurance companies.

  • At this time, Dr. Bradshaw has reached the limit for sliding-scale and pro-bono options.

Dr. Bradshaw offers slots for Sliding-Scale according to a three-tiered system. A minimum of 20% of his caseload pays by Sliding-Scale. *Currently he has reached this limit.

Sliding-Scale & Pro-Bono services are reserved for individuals that truly cannot pay the full rate for psychotherapy or close to the full rate. If Dr. Bradshaw is able to work with you on a Sliding-Scale or Pro-Bono basis, he will check-in with you periodically (once per 3-months) to determine if you still need this option or are able to increase your payment gradually.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

    • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

    • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

    • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

    • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit
